நாங்கள், புதுடெல்லியிலிருந்து 7.04.222 மதியம் புறப்பட்டு, MORADABAD,RAMPUR, Bilaspur, Rudrapur, Haldwani,(ராம்பூர், பிலாஸ்பூர், ருத்ரபூர், ஹால்ட்வானி) முதலிய ஊர்கள் கடந்து, இரவு Bhowali அடைந்தோம். இங்கு Hotel Vista என்ற Hotelலில் தங்கிக் கொண்டோம்.
போவாளி என்ற இந்த ஊர் உத்திரகாண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் மலைப் பிரதேசத்தில் உள்ளது. இங்கிருந்து நைனிட்டால், Bhimtal, Mukteswar, Almora, மேலும் பல இடங்களுக்கு செல்ல வசதி உள்ளது. மிகச்சிறிய ஊர். பஸ், Taxi Stand அருகில் தேசியதலைவர் மார்பளவுசிலை இருக்கிறது.
மலை பிரதேச ஊர். இரவில் குளிர் அதிகமாக இருந்தது. இரவு Hotel லில் தங்கி விட்டு அடுத்த நாள் 8.04.22 காலை 8.30 மணிக்கு புறப்பட்டு நைனிட்டால் முதலிய அருகில் உள்ள இடங்களுக்கு செல்ல இருந்தோம்.
இங்கு இயற்கை காட்சிகளும் மிக அதிகம்.
நாங்கள் தங்கியிருந்த Hotel லிலிருந்து சற்று தூரத்தில் ஒரு சிவன், தேவி, ஆலயம் இருந்தது.
சாலைகள் மிகவும் அகலம் குறுகி இருப்பதாலும், இருபுறங்களும் கடைகள் இருப்பதாலும், நெருக்கடியாக உள்ளது.
பிரதான சாலை மட்டத்திலிருந்து 5 அடி கீழ் இவ்வாலயம் அமைந்துள்ளது.
தனித்தனி கருவரை மண்டபங்களில்,
அனுமார், சிவன், பத்ரகாளி, காலதேவர், தனி தனி சன்னதிகள். ஆலயத்தின் நுழைவில், வினாயகர் சிலை சற்று உயரத்தில், கன்னாடியால் மூடியும், உட்பகுதியில், கருவறை விமானம் அருகிலும் வைத்துள்ளனர்.
மேல்புறம், லெட்சுமி நாரயனர் தனி கருவறை மண்டபத்துடன், அமைத்து உள்ளனர். ஒரு சில பக்தர்கள் வந்து அருகில் உள்ள வாளியில் உள்ள நீர் எடுத்து சிவனுக்கு அபிஷேகம் செய்து வணங்கியும், மற்ற சன்னதிகளில் உள்ள தெய்வங்களையும் பக்தியுடன் வணங்கி செல்கிறார்கள். நாங்களும், சென்று வணங்கி வந்தோம்.

Bhowali (Kumaoni: Bhoāli)[bʱəʋaːli] is a town and a municipal board in Nainital District in the state of Uttarakhand, India. It is situated at a distance of 11 km (6.8 mi) from the city of Nainital, the district headquarters; at an average elevation of 1,654 m (5,427 ft) from sea level. It is the seat of Bhowali tehsil, one of the eight subdivisions of Nainital district.
Bhowali is most known for its T.B. sanatorium, established here in 1912, where Kamala Nehru also stayed for a while. It is now an important fruit market for all the neighbouring region, and an important road junction to neighbouring hill stations, like Nainital, Bhimtal, Mukteshwar, Ranikhet and Almora.
The famous Kainchi Dham temple is about 8 km from Bhowali on Almora road. Famous among locals as the Neem Karori temple, is one of the most revered temple in the area.
Nearby is the popular shrine, Golu Devta temple at Ghorakhal, which stand on a hill above an Army school, the Sainik School Ghorakhal, established in 1966 in the Ghorakhal Estate of the Nawab of Rampur. One of the oldest houses in Bhowali on the Naini Bend has been turned into a Bed and Breakfast called Versha, a place in the hills.
And here, the Prachin Jabar Mahadev Shiva temple is located on the foothills of the lariyakata of sanitorium. The most important thing of this temple is that here is a wooden Shivling has been established since ancient times, which is still in its former state and the entire Nainital district The only Shiva Temple is where 18 feet long trident is installed.
Bhowali is located at 29.38°N 79.52°E. It has an average elevation of 1,654 metres (5,426 feet). Bhowali is a gateway to many places in the Kumaon division like Almora and Bageshwar for people coming from the Haldwani route.
Many Lakes neighbour Bhowali like Bhimtal, Sat tal, Naukuchiyatal, Nal Damyanti Tal, Sukha Tal, and Khurpa Tal. The place is an ideal hill station. It is 1706 meters above sea level and 11 km away from Nainital. This is a road junction serving all the nearby hill stations from Nainital. Bhowali is famous for its scenic grandeur and as a hill fruit mart. )
